Fear of the Happenings

Updated: Sep 4, 2022

"Progression is my vehicle and my motivation is the gas. It's impossible to drive on E."

When you are a child in school, the grownups ask you what you want to be when you grow up. The typical responses include being a doctor, attorney, firefighter, lawyer, etc. Sincerely, at that moment, no one has an idea how to go about doing this. Due to an unknowable impending life circumstance, there is still a certain amount of ignorance during youth. Many teenagers at this age rely on advice from their parents, teachers, friends, and significant others. These passed-down instructions produce a self-image that conforms to the prior generations' narrow definition of living. These ideologies are not always the best approach but can be improved. There is a bigger world out there, but only for those that are willing to actually research, find and see.

Every individual has a purpose. In finding this purpose, taking a closer look at yourself can determine what is self-serving for your own success. However, you have a decision to make. It can be quite terrifying to decide to change and then relearn who you really are. Never be frightened to live. We can learn from what has already happened, but nothing that has already happened can ever be changed. Failure is designed to impart wisdom on us and create constrained ideas. You run the danger of limiting your potential in terms of relationships, career opportunities, and family.

Relationships

Relationships can be frightening to some people, depending on their mindset when they enter them. There could be fears of abandonment, infidelity, etc. These fears can create huge walls. Others may not be willing to climb so high just to be convinced. Avoid becoming victimized by your own past transgressions. They deprive you of the pleasure of believing in a friend or companion. I'm not advocating being naive; simply give yourself time to observe behavior before coming to a judgement. Eventually, people's actions will reveal whether or not they have good or bad intentions.

Career

Opportunities in the workplace can result in financial gain and a better standard of living. Take a gamble on life and don't allow the prison of unworthiness to hold you back. The first step is supposedly the toughest. However, they neglected to emphasize that after that first learning phase, there are options for more.

The Past

Past experiences can also put you in a state of needing outside validation from outside sources like social media comments or likes. Don't let that fanciful thinking cause you to lose your sense and misjudge your own value. Self-care comes first. Anything that does not support you in achieving your highest good should be automatically dismissed.

The signs of fear can be seen in your behavior. You can choose progression over stagnation. Your life is so much better moving forward. That’s why your eyes are in front of your face and not behind it. Your forward vision inspires the potential for a happy life. Take this opportunity to end the generational curse or repetitive cycle. Step out on faith and show everyone who you really are.
